Haley in August

Little Haley and her Mommy Kristin made the hike to come visit me at our new house last weekend. This little cherub can make anyone swoon over her. Her smile and giggles are contagious. She even won over the two big fur monsters (my dogs Kueper and Toby), granted it involved waffles. They haven't been around many babies, but they were in love and didn't mind any of the ear tugs or fur pulls. It's amazing how easy it is to gain a dogs friendship. It's been a few months since I last saw Haley and in that time she had a few teeth pop through and she's sitting up on her own (which makes it so much easier to photograph). After my last photo session with her I didn't think it was at all possible for this doll to get any cuter but as you can see from the pictures below I was happily wrong.

Haley

This past weekend I was able to catch up with my great friend Kristin and her little bundle of pure baby bliss, Haley. I'm just amazed at how much can happen in such a short time. The last time Haley was in my arms she was just cooing and nestling against me and then....jump ahead two months and she's flourished into this funny, happy, gorgeous little 5 month old with this bigger than life personality. The pictures below weren't just random likely shots that I caught her smiling and giggling this is just Haley.. Sweet Haley. This little one just doesn't stop with the gummy smiles. Oh and those sparkley sky blue eyes? They can melt anyone, I'd even put money on it. Kristin and Mike definitely had the "Luck of the Irish" when they were blessed with her. I'm tickled pink to capture more of these moments as she sprouts into a toddler.

Children's Easter Egg Hunt

As promised here are the pictures from yesterday's Easter Egg Hunt. It was one of those days I wish I was little again. The kids had a day packed of activities from a surprise visit from the EASTER BUNNY, an egg hunt, bunny pottery painting, egg relay, and all the in between time was filled with kids being kids and burning off all the sugar pumping through their bodies! My cheeks hurt at the end of the day from all the laughing and smiling. Oh and something I learned... I need more memory cards I actually filled mine up! I won't let that happen again.

Wednesday blog babble...

"I need to post more!" I keep saying that to myself and I just don't get around to it. How annoying huh? I started this blog back in October being very green and having absolutely no idea what I was doing. I'm slowly learning about this html language. I went through my frustration stage where nothing I posted was the same as it appeared on my computer monitor and I had no idea why. I'm still trying to figure the whole video thing out but I think I might have found out why my pictures were loading all distored and grainy... so my fun fact of the week is.. when posting to the web save your file as "save for web"... oh my what a difference this makes! Now just don't forget and use this file to have printed you need to change it back otherwise you won't like the results.

Anyway... I'm super pumped!!!! Why you ask? I get to shoot an Easter Egg Hunt on Friday?! Now where did I put my bunny ears.. hmmm

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge {wind}

So I finally did it! I love the website www.iheartfaces.com and constantly pop in to admire all the pictures that are submitted each week in their weekly photo contest. I bit the bullet when I saw this week's challenge was "wind"... I had the perfect picture in mind and went for it with 1 minute to spare before the timeframe for entries expired. Now, I am going to wait patiently (ha.. if you know me you'd laugh at that statement too)for Saturday to come not only to find out the results but for the next challenge! I'm hooked!!
